STAT EMS, Inc is a chartered EMS Explorer Post with the Boy Scouts of America and identified as Explorer Post #500. Age groups of 14 – 20 years old are invited to be a part of this program throughout Genesee, Shiawassee and Lapeer County’s schools.
We would like to invite you to participate in our Exploring program. Exploring is a division of Learning for Life and provides an opportunity for you and students from other schools in the area to become acquainted with emergency medical professions through emergency medical training, guest speakers, hands-on activities, and ride-along program.
Our group meets every other week on Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. throughout the school year, and in addition to our regular meetings, there will be activities with other Explorer Posts from our area. Explorers work side by side with Paramedics and EMT’s to learn the skills necessary to perform their jobs. Explorers are a great asset to the EMS service.
If you are interested in becoming an EMS Explorer or need more information, please contact our EMS Explorer Advisor office at 810.238.7672 ext. 214 or email cbowen@statems.net
