Hurley Medical Center partnered with STAT EMS for the 1st Annual FREE CPR Training event on June 10, 2011, from 11am to 1pm, hosted by Flushing Fire Department, 723 East Main Street, Flushing. Come and learn to save a life. The June 10th event included car seat appointments, Safe Kids Greater Flint, Hurley’s Level I Trauma Center presenting Senior Fall prevention, Stroke Signs, literature and self risk assessment, stroke rehabilitation information from Hurley Rehabilitation Services, along with FREE blood sugar and blood pressure screenings, courtesy of Hurley Diabetes Center and the University of Michigan-Flint. Over 80 people registered for this event. STAT thanks the Flushing City Fire Department for hosting this event.
